Grandmaster Larry Christiansen who is ranked 10th in the country will be visiting The Chess Club.

GM Christiansen will offer a 3-hour workshop, a blitz simul, a 30-board regular simul, and the opportunity to dine and share his company.  Just visit here for more information.

It's not very often we in the Midwest get to have a National Scholastic event in our own backyard.  The National Youth Action event will be in St. Louis.  Visit here for more details.

This is the Mid-America Open being run by the Continental Chess Association.  Details have not been released about this event except for the fact it will be held in St. Louis.  I will provide more details as they become available.
