Kansas City Scholastic Chess Association

Welcome to the only 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Kansas City that is devoted to the spread of chess for children and scholastics.

The KCSCA is a joint venture between Tim Steiner & Ken Fee. This organization was created to fill a void in chess market for children. For so many years, chess has been on and off again with children in Kansas City. We centralized the information and the schools to provide better unity throughout the city. This entity has been operating since 2005, for the benefit of the community and chess. Past work with another entity began in 1999. We sincerely would like to thank those that helped build this establishment in the past.
