Research

Over the years, there has been quite a goodly amount of research conducted on the relationship between chess and its related benefits. Those benefits range from very objective data, like increased math and reading scores, to more subjective data, like increased concentration skills or better behavior. All of these topics apply, and do quite a good job highlighting why kids should learn the game of chess. This data is absolutely indispensable when determining if chess can be right for an individual, school or school district.

If you are an administrator of a school or school district and you’d like to find out more about chess and education, you can contact us to receive a booklet that will tell you everything you need to know about the benefits of chess. As an administrator, you will receive a complimentary copy of this packet.
